LOGO CONCEPT

The Los Angeles Ballet logo is built from a custom typeface inspired by the ribbons that  wrap around a dancer’s shoes—fluid lines that bind strength with grace. The inner wave shapes echo the tension and release found in movement, translating the physical rhythm of ballet into a typographic form. 

Each letter carries a sense of motion held in balance, reflecting the precision, elegance, and disciplined artistry at the heart of the company.
